National Competition Winner - Ronan Reilly
We are very proud of our 6th Class pupil Ronan Reilly, who was announced a National Winner in Tusla’s National School Attendance Campaign Poster Competition. Ronan is a very talented artist and he created an amazing poster promoting the importance of school attendance along with slogans for the campaign in his poster design. This is a fantastic achievement for Ronan and for St. Fintan’s. To celebrate this wonderful achievement there was a presentation of wonderful prizes made to Ronan on Friday 17th January from Niall Rabbitt (TESS TULSA Education Support Service) and from the Dept. of Education, Emer Hyland (Regional Manager of the Educational Welfare Service). As part of his prize Ronan will travel to the Irish Museum of Modern Art and Tusla's headquarters on Tuesday 11th February where he will see his creation being brought to life by graphic designers. It will then be used as part of Tusla's attendance campaign. Well done Ronan, the poster is deserving of recognition and really highlights the importance of attending school and the places education can take you.
